Styne House – Plant Upgrades and Landlord Renovations

Project Description:

The project scope consisted of plant/energy upgrades and modifications, new reception area, new café space and new changing/shower facilities at Styne House, Upper Hatch Street, Dublin. These systems encompassed the following:

  • Decommissioning and Strip Out
  • Air Conditioning Services
  • Domestic Water Services
  • Above Ground Drainage Services
  • LPHW Heating Water and CHW Chilled Water Services
  • Gas Services
  • Ventilation Services
  • Protective Services
  • BMS Controls

Project Achievements:

Maintained a live operating building throughout the project works whilst relocating and replacing the main central mechanical services plant serving the tenant floors and landlord spaces: LPHW Heating Plant, Gas Meter and Infrastructure, Air Handling Units, Water Storage Tanks, Water Booster Sets, Domestic Water Calorifier, Air Conditioning Condensers.

Increased energy performance by the installation of new energy efficient equipment.

Improved operation control of central plant systems for landlord facilities through the installation of a modern BMS.
